Zenpo Org Chart

Zenpo Org Chart draws a living organization chart from a SharePoint list or a CSV file that you control. It does not use Microsoft Graph. It does not wire to Azure AD. You map columns to roles and choose a Relationship format that matches how the source stores who reports to whom.

Find it in the web part picker under News, people and events, or type Zenpo. It runs on SharePoint Online modern pages only.

This is a People Pack chart. It does not manage positions, render vacancies, apply interim-manager rules, join multiple HRIS exports, or certify vendor schemas. The source must already be a flat list or CSV that contains the people and relationship data you want drawn.

What it does​

The web part reads people rows from a list on the current site, or from a .csv file in a document library on the same site. It then draws one selected hierarchy: nodes, reporting lines, search, focus, zoom, and an optional PNG export.

Microsoft's own chart cannot draw every hierarchy this part can. Additional reporting lines, external people, and a hierarchy you define in your list or file are first-class.

Key capabilities​

  • SharePoint list or CSV. Five Relationship format choices, including separate solid and dotted fields, repeated rows, and Manager lookup on compatible lists. See Choose a Relationship Format.
  • No Graph, no directory wiring. The chart shows the list or file you point it at, as the signed-in user.
  • Additional reporting lines. A person can appear under their solid-line manager and under additional reporting managers. Extra appearances are marked ⇄.
  • External people. Map an External marker field (optional) that has six or fewer distinct values, then select which of those values mean external. Those cards get a dashed outline. They stay in the tree, in search, in counts, and in the export.
  • Focus mode. Click a person to see their chain, up to four peers, and their reports, plus Email and Teams chat when Email is mapped.
  • Zoom, pan, collapse. Zoom from 30% to 200%, fit the chart, expand the canvas, and collapse branches.
  • PNG export. Download the chart as an image from Full tree mode when PNG export is on.

Limits​

  • A source larger than 5,000 rows is refused, not truncated. The message is This roster contains more than 5000 people. Refine the source or use a smaller organizational scope. Repeated-row formats can contain more rows than unique people.
  • Above 3,000 loaded people, a notice appears: {N} people loaded. Expanding every branch or exporting the full chart may take a few seconds.
  • Charts read best at up to about 500 visible nodes. A 5,000-row source can load. This Help does not promise that a full chart will feel fast to expand or export.
  • CSV files must be .csv only, not XLSX or TXT, and must live in a document library in the same site. See CSV and SharePoint List Sources.
  • The selected View filter and item limit apply before the chart sees rows. A reader only sees people their SharePoint permissions allow.
