Common Error Messages
List-bound Zenpo web parts map common SharePoint problems to the messages below. Product pages note any wording that differs.
Shared messages
| Cause | Typical message |

| Permission lost (403) | You no longer have access to this list. / …to this content. |
| List deleted or renamed (404) | The configured list could not be found. It may have been deleted or renamed. |
| Throttled (429; one automatic retry after 2 seconds) | SharePoint is busy. Please refresh the page in a moment. |
| List view threshold (5,000) | This view exceeds the list view threshold. Use a filtered view for this web part. |
| Timeout | Loading is taking longer than expected. |
| Source over cap | This source contains more than {N} items. Use a filtered view… (wording varies by product) |
| Unknown | Something went wrong while loading items. (the noun may change) |
A Retry or Try again button appears with the error. People Directory, Resources Library, and Birthdays and Anniversaries use Retry. Side Navigation, Stats Counter, and Dynamic Blurbs use Try again.
A slow-load notice appears at 8 seconds: Loading is taking longer than expected...
Cached-copy fallback
If SharePoint cannot be reached and a cached copy exists, most products show the last saved copy with a notice such as Showing the last saved copy — SharePoint could not be reached just now.
Caps refuse rather than truncate
When a product has a source cap, an over-cap list is refused. The web part does not silently drop rows. Use a filtered view. See How Zenpo Web Parts Use Your SharePoint Data.
