Zenpo People Directory
Zenpo People Directory is a searchable, filterable staff directory over a SharePoint list or a CSV file that you control. It does not use Microsoft Graph. It does not sync Azure AD profiles. It shows the list or file you point it at, as the signed-in user.
Find it in the web part picker under News, people and events, or type Zenpo. It runs on SharePoint Online modern pages only.
What it does
Readers browse people as Cards or a Compact list, filter with department and location chips, jump the A–Z rail, and open a detail sheet with contact actions.
The part accepts the same two source types as Org Chart: a SharePoint list, or a .csv file in a document library on the current site. The toolbox description mentions the list. The CSV source is also supported.

Key capabilities
- List or CSV. Bind a people list, or store a CSV in a library on this site and map columns.
- Cards or compact list. Authors set Layout mode. Containers under 640 pixels switch to the compact list.
- Filter chips. Department and Location each have a checkbox under Filter chips from.
- A–Z rail. Default on. Choosing a letter shows people whose name starts with that letter.
- Search. Matches name, plus job title, department, and location where those roles are mapped. Case and accents are ignored.
- Detail sheet. Department, Location, Email, Manager, Also reports to, Type (External), and Tenure, when those roles have values.
- Contact actions. Email, Teams chat, and Copy email when Email is mapped and the person has an address.
Limits
- A source larger than 5,000 people is refused, not truncated: This roster contains more than 5000 people. Refine the source or use a smaller organizational scope.
- CSV files must be
.csvonly, not XLSX or TXT, and must live in a document library in the same site. See Use an HR System (HRIS) CSV Export with Zenpo Web Parts. - Only Name is required. Every other role is optional. Unmapped roles remove what they power.
- Search does not cover email addresses, manager keys, hire dates, or unmapped columns.
- The selected View filter and item limit apply before the directory sees rows. SharePoint permissions always apply.
