Zenpo Accordion

Zenpo Accordion shows collapsible Q&A and FAQ sections from any SharePoint list or document library. You map roles to columns you already have. SharePoint's built-in collapsible sections are page structure only and cannot be driven by a list.

What it does​

The web part reads the bound list view and renders each row as an expand/collapse item. Header text and Body content are required. Optional roles add grouping, media, byline, date, a link, and an excerpt.

Find it in the toolbox under Text, media, and content, or type Zenpo in the picker search. It runs on SharePoint pages only. See Find the Zenpo Web Parts in the Toolbox.

Four render modes​

Horizontal and Media split keep exactly one item open. If you remove the column that unlocked Media split or Post, the render mode returns to Vertical.

List-driven content​

There is no required schema and no required column names. Map roles to the columns your list already has. Ordering, filtering, and the item limit come from the selected SharePoint view. See How Zenpo Web Parts Use Your SharePoint Data.

Search, grouping, and headings​

  • Search can sit above the items. Scope is Headers only or Headers and body. Search is a client-side substring match over the loaded set.
  • Group by (optional) adds category headers in Vertical mode. Rows with no group value land in Other.
  • Header heading level wraps each header control in Heading 2, Heading 3 (default), or Heading 4.

Document libraries and media​

On a document library, the file itself is the media. Documents and images get previews. Video plays. List Image columns and item attachments are supported.

Pictures and video come from the mapped Image and Video URL roles, not from pictures pasted into the body text.

Limits​

  • List reads page at 500 rows per request.
  • The source cap is 2,000 rows. An over-cap source is refused. The web part does not drop rows quietly. The message is This list contains more than 2000 items. Use a filtered view so readers get a set they can actually browse.
  • A notice appears when the bound set is above 500 rows.
  • Search matches the items already loaded.
  • A slow-load notice appears at 8 seconds.
