Zenpo Mini Calendar (Intranet Suite)

Zenpo Mini Calendar (Intranet Suite) is a compact month calendar plus an event list. It shows upcoming events from up to 5 SharePoint calendar or list sources in the same site as the page, each with its own color.

It reads SharePoint lists only. It does not use Microsoft Graph. It does not read Exchange. It does not read a calendar or list on another site.

This page is the documentation home for Mini Calendar in the Intranet Suite, including install and registration. Retired standalone Mini Calendar Help URLs redirect here.

What it does

The web part shows a month grid with date highlights and an upcoming-events list beneath it. Click a date to switch the list to that single day. Open an event to see the Event Details panel (Event, Date, Location, Description, (All day), View event details).

The layout is fixed. There is no Month/Week/Agenda switcher, no Today button, and no Expand. There is no source filtering. All sources render together.

For a full-size calendar with Month, Week, and Agenda views, use Zenpo Full Calendar. Compare the two products on Zenpo Full Calendar vs Mini Calendar.

Find it in the web part picker under News, people and events, or type Zenpo. See Find the Zenpo Web Parts in the Toolbox.

Suite edition and the standalone product

Zenpo Mini Calendar also ships as a standalone Zenpo product. Both editions can be installed in the same tenant.

A tenant with both installed sees the part twice in the picker. The suite edition is labelled (Intranet Suite). That is expected.

Install and register

A tenant administrator deploys the suite by uploading one package to the SharePoint App Catalog. See Install and Deploy the Intranet Suite.

After the package is available, add Zenpo Mini Calendar (Intranet Suite) to a modern page and register from the License group. See Register the Suite and Start Your Trial.

Key capabilities

  • Up to five same-site sources, each with a color from a 12-swatch picker
  • Date highlights: Current Date Highlight Color, Selected Date Highlight Color, and Event Date Indicator Color
  • Event-list theme: Select a Event List Theme (Light default, or Inherit from Theme)
  • First day of the week: Sunday (default) or Monday
  • Classic recurrence from classic Calendar lists (same patterns and limits as Full Calendar)
  • Event list roll-up: walks forward from the selected date gathering about five events, and extends the search when the calendar is sparse

The shipped labels Event Date Indicator Color (two spaces between Indicator and Color) and Select a Event List Theme are quoted exactly as they appear in the pane.

Classic vs ordinary list behavior is on Calendar Sources: Classic Calendar Lists vs Ordinary Lists. Recurrence limits are on Recurring Events in Zenpo Calendars. Time zones are on How Calendar Time Zones and All-Day Events Work.

No end-date setting

Zenpo Mini Calendar (Intranet Suite) has no end-date setting. It uses the start/end pairing a classic Calendar list provides, or a list whose columns are literally named Start and End. On any other list, every event is a single point in time and the event panel shows the same time twice. Use Full Calendar when you need durations or multi-day spans from an ordinary list. See Zenpo Full Calendar vs Mini Calendar.

Limits

  • All sources must be lists in the same site as the page.
  • Cache duration is not configurable.
  • There is no Appearance group (Color vibe / Accent color). Date highlight colors and the event-list theme are this product's color controls instead. See Appearance Settings: Color Vibe, Accent Color, and Corner Radius.
  • Full-width sections are not supported.
  • The dot under a date is a single indicator for the whole web part, set by Event Date Indicator Color. Per-source colors appear in the event list, not on the grid.
  • Readers need read access to each source list.

Unconfigured canvas: Configure your Calendar Web Part / Please configure the calendar / Configure. Other canvas strings include Events for {date}, Upcoming Events for {month}, There are no events for {date}, No upcoming events for {month}, and Loading events...
