Recurring Events in Zenpo Calendars
Zenpo expands the supported classic SharePoint recurrence patterns from the repeating item. Recurrence applies only where the row is a classic calendar event. Ordinary lists are never expanded.
Both Zenpo Full Calendar and Zenpo Mini Calendar (Intranet Suite) use the same patterns and the same limitations.
Supported patterns
| Pattern | Supported |
|---|---|
| Daily, every N days | Yes |
| Every weekday | Yes |
| Weekly, every N weeks, on any combination of weekdays | Yes |
| Monthly, on a day of the month, every N months | Yes. A day number that does not exist in a month, for example the 31st in February, produces no occurrence that month. |
| Monthly, positional (first / second / third / fourth / last weekday, weekend day, or day) | Yes |
| Yearly, on a month and day, every N years | Yes. 29 February occurs only in leap years. |
| Yearly, positional (first / second / third / fourth / last weekday of a month) | Yes |
End conditions
An end date works. End after N occurrences works for daily, weekly, monthly, and monthly-positional series.
Current limitations
State these as they are:
- "No end date" series are bounded by the end date stored on the item rather than repeating indefinitely.
- "End after N occurrences" is not applied to yearly series. The date bound still applies.
- "Fifth" positional patterns are not supported. First, second, third, fourth, and last are.
- Recurrence applies only to classic calendar events. Ordinary lists are never expanded.
