Do I need to move my documents to use Zenpo Resources Library?
No. It binds to a SharePoint list or document library you already have in the current site and maps roles to your existing columns. Only Title is required. No migration is required.
What are the three views, and can readers switch between them?
Cards, Grouped, and List. Readers switch freely. The author only sets which one loads first. Grouped stays unavailable until a Category column is mapped. The option reads Grouped — needs a Category mapping.
Grouped view uses numbered collapsible sections. It is not a literal treeview control.
Do document thumbnails work automatically?
Yes, on a document library: This is a library: file previews render automatically. Map a column only to override them. Map the optional Image role only when you want to replace the generated previews.
What does the NEW badge mean?
The item was modified in the last 30 days.
What does Check link permissions do?
For .url shortcut files pointing inside the same site collection, it hides the ones the current viewer cannot open. It is off by default and is slower on large libraries.
How do readers find things?
Three ways: a search box (which the author can hide), tag filter chips drawn from the optional Tags mapping, and, in Grouped view, expand and collapse groups from the Category mapping. Items with no category fall under Other. Readers can also switch between the Cards, Grouped, and List views at any time.
How large a source can it handle?
Up to 2,000 items. A larger source is refused with This source contains more than 2000 items. Use a filtered view so readers get a set they can actually browse. A notice also appears when the source is above 500 items.
Why does it say nothing to show yet?
Nothing to show yet / The bound view returned no rows, or no row has a title value. Check the view's filter, or bind a different column as Title.
If search or chips excluded everything: No resources match / Try a different search term, or clear the active filters.
