Set Up and Configure Page Heading
Add Zenpo Page Heading to a SharePoint Online modern page and choose a mode. The text is authored in the property pane and stored on that page.
Add the web part
- Edit the page.
- Type Zenpo in the web part picker. The part is shelved under Text, media, and content.
- Add Zenpo Page Heading and open the property pane.
Groups in the pane: License, Heading, then Appearance (web part only).
Choose a mode
Mode offers:
- Hero — welcome band
- Section — band opener (default)
- Article — standfirst
Switching modes never loses what you have typed.
If the mode's primary text is empty (title for Hero and Section, standfirst for Article), readers see nothing. Editors see a dashed placeholder: This heading is empty.
Hero — welcome band
Shared with Section: Kicker and Title. Shared with Article: Subline (the same stored value as Standfirst, two labels).
Hero-only settings:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Accent field | Gradient wash (default), Flat tint, or None. Never stock imagery. |
| Button 1 text / Button 1 link | First CTA. |
| ▸ Second button | Expander for Button 2 text and Button 2 link. |
| Compact (department hero) | Adds Contact link text / Contact link (mailto:) and Parent link text / Parent link. |
Section — band opener
Section-only settings:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Heading level | Heading 2 (default) or Heading 3. Heading 3 changes the semantic outline only. It renders at the same visual size as Heading 2. |
| See-all link text / See-all link | Optional right-aligned see-all link. |
Article — standfirst
Article-only setting: Show reading time (on by default).
Reading time is computed from the page's own content: word count ÷ 200, rounded up. A 30-word page reads 1 min read, never 0. Words inside other list-driven web parts are not counted. The estimate is cached for the browser session. Any failure silently omits the line.
Appearance
The part has an Appearance group for this web part only: Color vibe, Accent color (six colors), and Corner radius (default 4). See Appearance Settings: Color Vibe, Accent Color, and Corner Radius.
