Set Up and Configure Stats Counter
Point Zenpo Stats Counter at a SharePoint list, map roles to columns, then choose layout, appearance, and animation. Roles are not column names. The selected view carries the order, the filter, and the item limit.

Add the web part
- Edit a SharePoint Online modern page.
- Type Zenpo in the web part picker. The part is shelved under Data analysis.
- Add Zenpo Stats Counter and open the property pane.
Groups in the pane: License, Data, Field mapping, State colors, Layout, Appearance (web part only), then Behavior.
Bind the list
Under Data:
- Set an optional Heading.
- Choose Data source (list). If you can manage lists on the site, use Need a starter list? Create one with sample data to create a sample list. See Create Starter Lists with Sample Data.
- Choose a View. The pane says: "The View carries the order, the filter and the item limit."
- Set Cache duration (default 5 minutes).
If the source has more than 500 rows, the web part refuses it: "This source has more than 500 rows. A stats row is meant to hold a handful of numbers — point the web part at a filtered view." Above 24 rows, editors see a non-blocking notice: This source has {N} rows. A stats row reads best with a handful — consider a filtered view. After 8 seconds still loading: "Loading is taking longer than expected..." If SharePoint cannot be reached and cached numbers exist: "SharePoint could not be reached, so these numbers are the last ones we read. They may be out of date." The retry button label is Try again.
Map roles
Stat name and Value are required. Everything else is optional.

Changing the data source resets the mappings. Changing only the view keeps them.
State colors
Use the repeating word plus color-swatch editor (Add a word). Matching is trimmed and case-insensitive, but otherwise a whole-string exact match. The first matching entry wins.
If a row holds a word that isn't listed here, it still shows, just in plain text with no dot. Nothing is inferred from the word itself.
Layout and appearance

Appearance is Color vibe, Accent color (six colors), and Corner radius (default 4). See Appearance Settings: Color Vibe, Accent Color, and Corner Radius.
Animation and click behavior

Editors see a Replay button: "Play the count-up again. Only you see this button — it never appears to readers."
A visitor whose device requests reduced motion sees the final value immediately.
Starter sample sets
The starter wizard offers three sample sets. All three create the same columns (Mode, Value, CompareValue, DateValue, Caption, Order, Link, Animate, Rule, alongside Title). The default view is ordered by Order.

The two sets that contain a status word seed State colors with Green, Orange, and Red. The Rule column in those lists already offers daysUntil, daysSince, percentOfTarget, and deltaVsPrevious as choices.
Dialog copy: "A small stats list with clearly fictional sample rows — put it on the page immediately, then replace the rows with your own." Buttons: Create and Cancel (busy: Creating…). Failure: "The list couldn't be created. You may not have permission here, or a list with this name may already exist — try another name." Success: "{list} created with {N} sample stats. Replace or edit them when ready."

Empty state and notices
Editors see Nothing to show yet and: "Every stat is mapped to a column that has no value, or the list has no rows you can see. Editors see this message; visitors see an empty space."
Editor-only notices explain mis-set computed rules. Visitors never see those notices. Shared list errors and the Try again retry label are covered in Common Error Messages.
