How is this different from Zenpo Simple Blurbs?
They render the same cards. Zenpo Simple Blurbs content is authored directly in the web part on one page. Zenpo Dynamic Blurbs reads a SharePoint list, so the cards are written once and every page showing that list stays current. Zenpo Simple Blurbs is Free Forever. Which columns do I need?
Only Title is required. Content, Link, Image, Icon, Category, Display order, Read more label and Active are all optional roles you map to whichever columns your list already has.
How do I hide a card without deleting the row?
Map the Active role to a Yes/No column and leave Show only active items on. Only an explicit No hides a row. Changing the toggle re-renders immediately without reloading the list.
How do I control the order of the cards?
Use Sort by: Display order (the default, using your mapped Display order column), Title or Category. The selected SharePoint view can also filter or hide items before they reach the web part.
Can a card use an emoji instead of an icon?
Yes. The Icon role accepts both icon names and emoji. If an item has both a picture and an icon, the picture is used. An unrecognized icon name falls back to a simple mark rather than an empty box.
Why do readers see a blank area?
The empty state is editor-only. Editors see No active items in this list / Check the view, the Active field mapping, or add items to the list. Readers see nothing. Check the view filter, the Active mapping, and Show only active items.
The list has more than 500 items
The source cap is 500. The web part refuses an over-cap source instead of dropping rows. The message is This source has more than 500 items. Use a filtered view so the web part can show a bounded set.
An editor-only notice also appears above 48 rows.
Shared list errors
Access, missing-list, throttling, view-threshold, and unknown-load messages are shared across list-bound parts. This product's timeout copy is Loading took too long. Check the view and try again. The retry button is Try again. See Common Error Messages.
