Now that you've successfully installed the Clocks Web Part on your SharePoint site, let's dive into how you can use and configure it to fit your needs.
If you haven't already added the Clocks Web Part to a page, follow these steps:
Navigate to the page where you want to display the Clocks Web Part.
Click on "Edit" in the top right corner of the page.
Click on the + icon to add a new Web Part.
Search for "Zenpo Clocks Web Part" in the Web Part selection tool.
Select the Zenpo Clocks Web Part from the list.
The Clocks Web Part is highly customizable to meet your specific requirements. Follow these steps to configure it:
Accessing the Configuration Panel
Select the Web Part:
While in edit mode, click on the Clocks Web Part to reveal the configuration options.
Open the Configuration Panel:
A panel will appear on the right side of the screen, allowing you to adjust various settings.
Configuration Options
Here are the configuration options available:
Location Name:
Enter a custom name for each clock to identify the location (e.g., “New York”, “London,” etc.).
Clock Skin:
Choose from five available skins to match your site’s design:
Classic Style 1: A traditional clock face with a classic design.
Classic Style 2: A variation of the classic style with subtle differences.
Modern Minimalist - Dark: A sleek, modern design with a dark theme.
Modern Minimalist - Vivid: A vibrant, modern look with bold colors.
Modern Minimalist - Light: A clean, minimalist design with a light theme.
Time Zone:
Select the appropriate time zone for each clock to display the correct time.
License Settings: To activate the Clocks Web Part, accept the End User License Agreement (EULA), Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy, then click on "Apply".
This is a one-time setup; once completed, the Clocks Web Part will be automatically activated for your use.
Once you’ve configured the Web Part, click Publish to make the Web Part live on your page.
Note: For optimal performance and user experience, we recommend limiting the number of Clocks Web Parts to a maximum of 3 per page.
